Overview
The Felco 2 is the most widely used manual pruning shear in commercial viticulture worldwide. Swiss-made with a forged aluminum handle and replaceable hardened steel blades, the Felco 2 has been the standard spur and cane pruning tool in wine grape production for decades. The compound-action cutting mechanism reduces hand fatigue compared to single-pivot designs. Every component is replaceable, giving the tool an effectively indefinite service life. The Felco 2 is right-hand only; the Felco 9 is the left-hand version.
