McNab Vineyard Vine Puller for Block Removal

McNab Equipment - Soil-Irrigation

Overview

Vine pullers are hydraulic or mechanical tractor-mounted tools used to remove old vines from blocks being replanted. The McNab vine puller uses a hydraulically actuated jaw that clamps onto the vine trunk and uses tractor power to extract the vine and root ball from the soil. This eliminates the need for chainsaw cutting and manual root digging, reducing the labor required for block removal from several days to a single tractor pass. Vine pulling is typically combined with deep subsoil ripping to address compaction and remaining root material before replanting.
