Star Post VSP Trellis System with End Anchor

Keystone Steel & Wire - Trellising-Training

Overview

Vertical shoot positioning trellis systems built on T-posts or star posts with end anchors and galvanized wire are the standard trellis infrastructure in North American wine grape production. Keystone Steel & Wire's star posts are used in the majority of VSP trellis installations in California, Oregon, Washington, and the eastern US. A complete VSP system consists of line posts at 8-10 foot spacing, corner and end posts with deadman or diagonal anchor bracing, and typically four to six wires including a cordon wire, two foliage catch wires, and one or two positioning wires.
