Disease Risk Assessment Guide

The Disease Risk Assessment Tool evaluates risk levels for powdery mildew, downy mildew, and botrytis based on environmental conditions.

How to use it:

Enter current or forecasted temperature

Enter humidity percentage

Enter recent rainfall amount

Enter leaf wetness duration (hours)

Select canopy density

Interpreting risk levels:

Low: Standard spray intervals are sufficient

Moderate: Consider shortening spray intervals

High: Apply fungicide as soon as possible; shorten intervals to 7 days

Critical: Immediate action required; use systemic products

Note: This tool assesses environmental risk only. Actual disease pressure also depends on inoculum present in your vineyard.
